Gazpacho: a way to heat i .. hypertension

Researchers from the University of Barcelona published a study which shows that regular consumption of gazpacho reduces by 27% the risk of hypertension. This results in a loss of some vitamins. Therefore, I urge you to make your own gazpacho, especially in high season, when fresh tomatoes do not cost much. Here is the recipe for a cheap, quick and easy homemade gazpacho.

The recipe for four people:

6 ripe tomatoes,

1 cucumber,

½ red pepper,

½ green pepper,

2 small onions,

1 clove of garlic,

Juice of 2 lemons (or more, to taste)

6 tablespoons vinegar ½ cup olive oil basil,

red pepper powder,

pepper and salt, a glass of water.


Squeeze the crushed garlic and finely chop the onion. Wash the tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. Peel cucumber and remove the seeds from the peppers and chop all the vegetables into pieces. Mix vegetables with garlic and onion, add the olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, basil, salt, pepper and paprika powder. When the whole is too thick, add a little water. Thoroughly mix and allow to stand for two hours in the refrigerator. It is the perfect recipe to do together with their children. This gazpacho simply can not go wrong ...
